Long Term Projects: Part of the Pack: Birds of a Feather

There is an undeniable connection between dog and human. Similar to human relationships, the more time spent together, the more humans, and their dogs, begin to share traits and qualities like those in ones personality and appearance.

Every year at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show in New York City, thousands of canines strut their stuff in the ring after hours of pre show rituals and preparation. Whether they are the owner, breeder, handler or just helping out, the humans devote time, money and energy into the competition and together, as a pair, they have to develop a level of trust with each other.

Birds of a Feather examines this subtle yet obvious visual connection between these show dogs and their humans, questioning the laws of attraction and the power of relationships, however they come.
